I think we're all looking for the same family. However, the family branched out in a couple of different directions in the mid to late 18th century. Starting in Philadelphia, they moved to Lancaster County, and that's where I have gaps in my research. I know my branch of the family went south to Virginia and West Virginia. Another branch went west, to Ohio and Indiana. What I don't know is who this core family was. I know of a Johann Kaspar and a Michael, but I don't know how they are related or who their children were as of the mid-1700's. If anyone can help me here, please contact me. Maybe someone from the Ohio branch can trace their line backwards to where we converge.
