Hi thanks for your message,I definately haven't traced my sinn family back that far,the furthest that I've traced it was to Christian sinn,I'm not really sure whan he was born, but he married Minney or Manie grossman, and they lived in wuerttemburg germany, they had two sons that I'm aware of,there was Charles William, and his much younger brother Christian Jr,there where other siblings though I have some names but have yet to connect them together.
Charles came to the USA in 1868 at the age of 20,He migrated to upstate NY (town of ithaca)thats where he raised his family,
he married twice, his first wife and mother of his kids was Mary Elizabeth Newton. they had 7 children,
1. Sarah
3.bradford b.
4.charles william Jr
5.thomas m.
6.robert a
7.henry h.

I'm a direct decendent of charles w.sinn
his son robert is my gg grandfather.
I have information on all of the decendents of Charles w sinn up to my generation.

charles's brother Christian married a woman named Amelia buffalo NY,they had two children,
1.frederick sinn
2.Emma sinn
note: frederick Sinn died of tetnus after stepping on a rusted piece of steal in a swimming hole and is burried in Ithaca NY.

Charles's nick name was Chas, and I believe that's what he went by because that was the name on his wedding certificate when he married his 2nd wife Eliza Harris in 1898,they never had any children together.

are any of these names in your tree?
and could you give me a listing of your sinn tree?
my email address is
I would really like to see it.

thankyou for your time.
Frederick Johnson
