Hi Fred,
I have not been back to this family site for a while, and wondered if you were still looking for info on Col. Wm Sinn.
I have found much info on both him and his second wife, my relative, Cora Tanner by just putting their names in my search engine.
His first marriage was to a Miss Bonn, daughter of a tobacco merchant. Through this marriage he had two children, Walter L. and Isabella. Later he became a partner with his father-in-law and began traveling.
For twenty four years he was proprietor of the Park and Montauk Theatres, in Brooklyn, and was one of the best known men in Brooklyn.
He married Cora Tanner in 1888, and was her manager for a while. Quite a bumpy marriage, so it is said.
Unfortunately none of his ancestry was listed in any of the information that I have obtained so far.
He passed away August 10, 1899.
Don't know if this helps any, however, it sorta makes interesting reading...and I did discover much information on my Cora Tanner, who according to my info, happens to end up being a relative to the William F Tanner of Rhode Island, 1660..
How about you, have you discovered anything new, would love to hear from you.
