I am the great great grandson of John Sisemore of Clay County, Kentucky and Madison County, Arkansas. James Sisemore was his father and his mother's name was Elizabeth Fields. James died in 1824, when John was only two years old and his mother Elizabeth died in 1825. John went to live with a cousin in Harlan County, Kentucky till he was 15, then moved to Washington County, Arkansas and finally settled in Madison County, Arkansas and married a Miss Eliza Hock (aka Hawk).
Hope this helps.
