On a Guion Miller Application that was filed by a John
"andrew" Turner that he was the son of Pick Turner B)abt or
around 1810 and died in 1880. He states his Mother was
a Vinia Bearden/Beardon. How ever he states Pick's first
wife was listed as Sally "Sas A. Syzmore. and stated she
was at least 1/2 indian. from what i can find both
Pick Turner and Sally/Sarah are living in Pickens Co SC
during 1850 and 1860(Eastatoe area)NorFork area.
There children are listed as Elizabeth,Mariah,Hannah, susan,
Andrew,Belinda-malinda. Now it states that John "andrew"
Turner was born in Transylvania Nc. Wife-Etter(Etta)Unk.
This was filed around 1906. Does anyone have any idea
as to where this sally/sarah A Syzmore fit's in? who her
parent's could possibly be??? She would be my 6th great
grandma-and i can find no other leads or information on her.
Ive hit a brick wall. if anyone has any idea's whom she
was the daughter of,i would greatly appreciate the help.
She might of been married before Picken Turner or after.
Because in 1970 he is listed as Andrew P Turner living with
Vina Beardon in the Cullowhee township. and i can find nothing on this Vina Beardon either-other than she has a
brother John and sister elizabeth . mother listed as Sucky
beardon on the Guion Miller application. Any help would
be much appreciated. Sincerely C Carter/electrafiing@hotmail.com
