I have Lottie's descendants (census, obituaries, etc). HOWEVER - one important thing we must look at is WHO her father was. Her mother, of course was Jane Shehane - BUT Lottie was born August 1871 and her "supposed father." James Delaney Hope Sistare, died 1862 Winchester Virginia , during the Civil War. Jane must have deliverd Lottie by someone other than James Delaney Hope Sistare who was long dead.
Jane had at least 3 children after the death of JDHS - Ellen, Esabella (Bell) and Lottie. Ellen and Esabella died of typhoid in 1870:
