Hi there Ron,
I was in e-mail contact with you back in early 2002 although you may not remember. I have more information now than I had then. My Sivyer family comes from the West Sussex area & I have information dating back to the late 1600s. With various spellings they appear in western Hampshire in New Forest. They appear to be centred in the adjoining parishes of Ellingham, Ibsley & Fordingham, with another group in Portsmouth & nth. Stoneham near Southampton - in the 1740s & 1750s. Eventually moving along the Hampshire coast. They were in the Fordingham, Easebourne, Iping area. We probably don't link up anywhere, but I thought I'd try anyway.
