I'm seeking more information on my ancestor, David Sivyer who came from West Kent, England to Canada. From there, he married Philomena Brunette. She was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

They had 9 children:

Mathilda "Tillie" Caroline Sivyer
David John Sivyer
Sarah Jane "Jeanette/Jennie" Sivyer
Francis Abraham Sivyer
Mary "Mame" Margaret Sivyer
Edward Constantine Sivyer
Albert Stephens Sivyer
Sophia Catherine Sivyer
William Henry Pettibone Sivyer

Sarah Jane "Jeanette" Sivyer is my great, great grandmother. She married Henry "Harry" C. Spelman. All I have is that from the Sivyer family genealogy that I have says her father, David Sivyer was born in West Kent, England. I have in vain searched for his immigration records, but cannot find any. I am stumped.

I'd love to know more about the Sivyer side. I wonder if it's possible he came with a brother or a sister or parents to Canada from England.
