My maternal grandfather was named Harry Sivyer. I think he emigrated to the States prior to 1925. He married Marguerite Gilmore. Marguerite died in childbirth when my mother, Grace, was born in 1930. Grace was adopted by Marguerite's niece Marie and her husband Charles George. Harry was "Uncle Harry" to Grace until he died in 1932 or 1933. I have no other information on Harry, but I plan to be researching the family history soon. Hope this is helpful. If you think my grandfather is a missing Sivyer, please let me know. Thanks.
