My granfather, Alfred Thomas John Sivyer, is probably already known to your records, as he was born and lived all his life in West Sussex. I am the last member of the line to carry the name, as all his daughters subsequently married and changed their names. I emigrated out here two years ago and have noticed a few people with the Sivyer name. One you may like to follow up on is Ian Sivyer, who I saw in a recent paper has just become Finance Relationship Leader for American Express International (NZ). I would also be really interested in your research, as we must be closely related and my mother has done some research of her own, but never completed it.

Regards, Carla
