My granduncle was Torstein Torsteinson b1889 and died in California with the name Thomas S. Thompson in 1990.

His father was Torstein Torsteinson who married Anne Gulleksdotter Deildokk.

Both were in the Flesberg area.

They may be related into your family.

They had children called, Ole 1876, Gullik 1878, Marit 1879, Kristoffer 1881, Gudbrand 1883, Andres 1883, Gudbrand 1884, Gudbrand 1886 who went to America and Torstein who went to California.
