I have not located any Skeltons in my tree, but the Wisehearts moved to Gallatin Co. Il in 1828--must have been about the same time your Skeltons migrated. The Wisehearts came from Nelson Co. KY. John and Elizabeth Miller Wiseheart mad seven children
Richard, John, Samuel, Ellen, William (my husband's ggrandfather), Hannah, and Mary. i have access here to Gallaltin Co. census, if you need help, I will check it out.
