I have an ancestor named Robert Skelton, Sr. (married to Elizabeth Bobo--or Beaubeaux)who was one of four or so brothers that moved from VA to Pendleton Co., SC. They showed up in the 1790 census. (The oldest brother's name was William.) Robert's son was Jonathon, who married Elizabeth Cox and died 17 Jul 1810. Jonathon's son was John Odis born 1815 in SC, married to Elizabeth Berry. Their son was James Madison, born in 1853 in Ala. I would really appreciate any information, especially tracing Robert.
