Anthony, can you give an approximately birth year of your father and the state he was born in?
My daughter has Skeltons in her family. They were from Ga, Ala and Mississippi.
I can't promise to find your father's family, but if I had more to go on, I'd like to help try.
If you know the state he was born you can go to the vital statistics, most public libraries have genealogy depts and the librarians are always willing to help. If he was adopted, try the adoption agency.
