I know there are a lot of lines that lead back to the UK, but I am hoping someone may have additional information on my line. I'm a bit stuck at the moment, but here's what I have so far:
I am Samuel Skelton, son of Gary Milton Skelton and Mary Jo Cangemi.
Gary, born in NY, is son of Henry Leroy Skelton and Marjorie Hammon.
Henry, born in NY, is son of Claude Skelton and Pearl.
Claude was born Sept 10, 1888 in Forestport, NY. He is son of John Skelton and Amelia Mykel, and he had a sister Maude.
John Skelton was born in the 1850's/60's in Canada (possibly Ontario Province), and later moved to NY. He was son of Thomas Skelton and Elen(?). His siblings were as follows: Bridget (NY), Daniel (Canada), Elizabeth (NY), James (Canada), John (Canada), Mark (NY), Michael (Canada), Stephen (NY), and William (NY).
Thomas Skelton is where I'm stuck. I have proof that he and both of his parents were born in Ireland, but unfortunately that's all I have.
