I wonder if anyone can help. We have hit a "dead-end" in our McCaddon genealogy regarding a James Skelton McCaddon. He was born 8th November 1824 in Pennsylvania and married a Miranda Hartley on 16th July 1850 in Livermore County PA. We are presuming he got his middle name from his maternal family. Does he link with anyone's known Skelton genealogy perhaps? He died on the 19th July 1861.
