I will be traveling soon to Hartwell, Georgia, to do family research on this line: John P. Skelton, son of Noel Larkin Skelton, son of Noel, son of Jeremiah Bobo, son of Robert and Elizabeth Skelton. If anyone can direct me to resources in this area I'd appreciate it. I plan on visiting the courthouse, of course, plus Sardis Baptist Church, where Robert and Elizabeth were charter members and where John P. is buried.
