Robert Skelton was m g-g-g-g grandfather. He was son of John Skelton Jr. (b. abt. 1727, Mecklenberg Co., VA), m. Sarah --?--. Their children were: William, Robert (Sr.), Thomas, Mark, and John. I dsecend from Robert's son Jeremiah Bobo Skelton and his 2nd wife Anna Ashley. John Skelton Jr. was son of John, Sr., (b. abt 1704). Will of John Skelton filed 18 Nov. 1777 in Mecklenberg Co., VA.
