We are hunting for a Skelton Boy from Bradley Co Tennessee, that was sent to Texas on a waggon train by his parents John and Sarah Skelton,when he was about 13. He and another boy were throwing rocks at a gin, and the owner came out with a gun and shot the Skelton Boys friend and killed him, He told the Skelton boy he would kill him also, the parents fearing that he would, sent the son to Texas, planning to join him the next year, but things came up and they were not able to make the trip, and never knew where the son ended up. If anyone knows of this boy, please contact me, thanks.
