Solomon & Mary Skelton lived on Cedar Creek, Elbert Co., GA from 1792 until about 1811. He sold 160 acres of land on Cedar Creed to his uncle John Skelton (Ga). He also sold 100 acres of land to N. Bradden in 1806. About 1814, he moved back to Pendleton Co., SC. There he was witness to the will of Jesse Crenshaw, Sr. on 14 November 1827. Solomon and Mary moved to Madison Co., AL ca. 1829 and joined his father, Robert, Sr., sister Sarah, and husband Ambrose Dollar, his two or more brothers, Sampson, Robert(Jr.), et al., and his two sons, Dozier Skelton and Hiram Skelton. They are all found there in Madison Co., AL buying land, and they are in that county's census of 1830 with John Young, Hiram Skelton's father-in-law.
