Progress on Hawkins Co. Skelton history?

Hi,

Thanks to Earl Skelton, I have about all of the Skelton part of my family tree as is currently known. I'm of the Hawkins County Skelton brothers and sisters who were from Caroline Co., VA.

I was wondering if anyone has made any progress in determining the parents of this family? Has their mother been verified as Ann? Is there any clue as to what Skelton was their father? Does anyone know where this group of Skeltons were from before Caroline County?
