I am very interested in the Skelton surname in
Baltimore County as well. My gggrandfather, John
Skelton was born in 1819 in County Wexford, Ireland.
He eventually immigrated to America and settled
in northern Baltimore County, where he died in
1884. He is buried at St. John the Evangelist
Cemetery in Long Green, Baltimore County, MD.
John was married to Catharine Doyle, also from
County Wexford. Do you think there's a chance
that any of this fits into your tree?? If so,
let me know what you think. I'd be very interested
in any information you may have on Skeltons from
Baltimore County. Thanks.
