No. This James Skelton is said to have be among the second group of settlers to arrive at Jamestown in May 1610. Nothing more is known about him, nor whether or not he left any descendants. But he does hold the distinction of being the frist Skelton in the New World. No. 2 is the Rev. Samuel Skelton who arrived in Salem, MA in 1629 -- nineteen years later.
