John Gibson Skelton m. Prudence Chidester 22 Dec 1853 Rominesville, Harrison Co., WV. Prudence was the d/o Abraham Chidester and Catherine Radcliff and was deaf as was John Gibson Skelton. Prudence had a sister and brother who were also deaf. Is anyone working on this family? I am primarily interested in the deafness. I have 2 grandchildren who are deaf which is supposed to be genetic and am trying to establish the source.
