I am looking for anything anyone can give me here.
To the best of my knowledge she was born 9th February 1840 in Totnes, Devon, England. She was living with her mother Elizabeth SKELTON (nee GULLICK 1795 - 1872) and father (William SKELTON 1800 - 1856) in Tring, Buckinghamshire (unwed) in 1854. William was a baptist minister in Tring at the time, his previous churches being in Totnes 1840-1843, Kent 1844/5, Suffolk 1845-1850, and Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire 1850-53. They were dissenters and permission to meet had to be given by the Archdeacon. Elizabeth married someone called HILLSDEN (Christian name unknown) and subsequently lived in Antafagusta, Chile.
