My grandfather was John William Skevington. I have a family tree with gaps dating back to 1772 if you are interested. I know this must be the right person as I remember my Granfather showing me a rubber stamp of his fathers business which was Tripe dresser and Linseed Oil merchant. Charles Skevington his brother was killed in the first world war in about 1916 in France. Annie Skevington Married A. Clark and emigrated to New Zealand
