Hilary - have now started on tracing my husbands maternal grandparents line and have gone back through several generations to John Skevington the Chartist. Our line is through John Feargus Skev, Arthur Sheffield Skev, Horace Skev (my grandfather) Have got some details about his father coming from Nottingham but if your brother has any more info I'd like to find out. We came across to Loughborough and although the exhibition was over the library staff kindly showed us his portrait which is still hanging in the storeroom at the back of the building! We found that Love Lane Methodist church is now under a multi storey carpark!
