My aunt is also interested in our geneology. I talked to her yesterday and she believes that Grandma (Alice) knows who has the family bible or might have it. My grandfather Rashaw John Welch is the son of Sylvester Welch and Mildred Mead. Sylvester Welch is the son of a Charles Welch who married Rachel Inman. I believe this is the Charles Welch who is the son of Alfred Delos Welch and Sally Skiff but I don't have any proof yet.
Charles Welch had 4 children. Emma, Nora, Wesley, and Sylvester.
Sylvester Welch marred Mildred's sister, Louise, after Mildred died. They had a son named Delos (an unusual name) who is my Great-Uncle.
