A Google search brings up Portrait & Bio. Records of Colorado...Eagle Co., 1899: Wilson A. SKIFF, b. ca. 1850, PA, son of William SKIFF, Jr. (ca. 1812, NH - 1872, aged 59 [?]) & Lucinda MAY (ca. 1810, NH {sic, NY} - 1888 [?], PA) dau/o Gilbert MAY. William SKIFF and Lucinda had

Franklin SKIFF (2 Je. 1836, PA - 30 July 1915) served in the Eighteenth PA Cavalry and became a lumber merchant. In 1880, he was of Spring Creek, Warren Co., PA, a farmer, with wf. Lucy, son Charles, & dau. Donnie [Census data from database at FamilySearch].

Hiram (ca. 18__ - 1878).

Wm. A., joined Consolidated Ice Co. of Denver in 1883.

Silas G. (ca. 1842, PA - 1883, PA) of Bloomfield, Crawford Co., PA, in 1880, with mother Selinda, 69, wid., NY NY RI.

Mathewson, (ca. 1845 PA - _ ) next to Silas in 1880, with wf. Laurie, 28, & sons Bertram & Arthur.

Francis Marion, b. ca. 1848, went to Colorado, 1878, a miner; in 1880, Central City, Gilpin, CO, bookkeeper; wf. Mary & four ch.

Wilson A., b. ca. 1850, PA; m. 1873, MI, Dell ALEXANDER, b. PA, raised in Lowell, MI, dau/o Eunice BRAISTED & Willard ALEXANDER. Wilson lived from 1876 - 1886 in Kent Co., MI; in 1880, in Vergennes, Kent Co. Then they settled on a claim on Gypsum Creek, Eagle Co., CO, which became the village of Gypsum. Wilson & Dell had sons Guy & Harvey (after 1880 census).

Fidelia, b. ca. 1852, PA; m. Russel HARVEY; of Sparta, Crawford Co., PA, 1880; Russell, 39; Phidelia, 28, PA NY NY; 4 ch.

Charles, b. ca. 1855; lumber merchant, Warren Co., PA; possibly of Spring Creek, Warren Co., PA, 1880: Charles, 25, PA; wf. Mary, 20; son Royal, 2.

The biography indicates that William SKIFF, Sr., was born in Scotland but was related to the early family of Massachusetts. I wonder.
