Archie, I see that it has been awhile since you posted this, but in case you're still interested in other info I thought I'd post anyhow. Lucinda and William are my great, great, great, great grandparents. My line goes through their daughter Fidelia who married Russell Harvey. I have alot of census info on them, but since you may have it too I won't post it. I didn't know where they were buried (only that it was somewhere in Crawford County)so thank you for that info! I believe that William's father's name was James, and that our Skiffs came to Crawford Co. from Arkwright and Pomfret, which are in Chautauqua Co, NY. Lucinda's parents, Silas and Zenah May, were also from Arkwright. I have been trying to trace the Mays and the Skiffs back farther, but can't come up with anything definite. Only educated guesses. I would be interested to know if you have learned anymore about them. Happy searching!
