The above is from the 1881 Census and "hits" on your names of George caroline, Ann and Edward. THe nearest Edward on the Census is this one, being born in 1872. No mention of a "German" birth place for the father, and the location is Essex, albeit West Ham. I am researching Skingles on my wifes side, but have not seen any connections to your family. Hope this helps.
