Hello Terence, I have a Skingle coat of arms. If you read Anglo Norman here is the description (sorry I don't have a scanner to send you a copy, Jacqueline Lynch does though; Iposted her a copy)
SKINGLE: Sa. a fess chequy ar. and gu. betw.three escallops or, in chief a trefoil of the second.
I have contacted the College of Arms to see if they can trace who it was granted to.
More detail later. Over to you. Who was your father/grandfather?
