Thanks for the information

The information I had was from the 1841 census for Takeley.

I had disregarded it because I was researching George Skingle (b 1839 Takeley)

However my George and this Jeremiah are the same person I now realise.

Jeremiah married Ann Susannah Atwell, and there children were Ann Louise, George, Caroline, Edward and Ada Emily.

In the 1881 census and on Edward's marriage certificate he gives his name as George, but it is Jeremiah in 1901 census and on Edward's birth certificate.

Edward married Rose Edmonds and their daughter Ada was my grandmother.

Cheers

Chris
