Gabriel Ship She-Wah-No
I guess I have to back track him now.
MY Family Bible
Hugh Humphrey Gilbert Skipper came from somewhere in Virginia and was not born in SC. Her bible shows this.
Also that they were indian slaves in Virginia.
I have all of her notes verbal and written by her.
Her bible has Hugh listed as Hugh Humphrey Gilbert Kipper
The bible has listed the following people and notes
1. Lety Ship a Indian slave was born in Va. died in Va. Lety married to a Indian/Injun
2. Frank Shiper born in Va. died in Va.
3. Geo. SKiper born in Va. died in NC
4. Hugh Humphry G. SKiper was born in Va. died in NC
5. Addam SKiper was born in Va died in NC
6. Hugh Gabriel GilbertSkipper was born in NC he died in SC married to Sarah or Sallie (?) Skipper born in SC. died in SC.
The bible has anote in the back that Hugh SKiper and Addam SKiper were hung on the NC/SC boarder.
I have a photo of Hugh Gabriel Gilbert Skipper and Sarah Sallie (?) Skipper
With the surnames of Ship, Skip, Skipper, Shipper my search for my Native American Ancestors has been tough.
