Thomas Skuce (1804-1905)
I am trying to complete my genealogy. Thomas Skuce (1804-1905) is my great-great-great grandfather. The information which has been provided to me is the following: Thomas Skuce was born in County Cork and married Elizabeth Gossen (1809-1869). Together they immigrated to Canada in 1847. Their daughter, Mary Ann Skuce (1849-1940), married John Rodney in 1870. Their son Thomas Rodney is my great-grandfather. Thomas Skuce was said to be the son of Admiral Edward Skuce, who married Elizabeth Cole around the year 1800. Thomas Skuce is supposed to have brothers named James and Daniel. Does this information accord with anyone else researching the name "Skuce?"
