My apologies for a tardy reply to your posting about Lorne Skuce.
Leander Lorne Skuce was born in 1898, and died sometime after 1969. He was the son of James Skuce (1861-1937) and Mary Ann Mamie Reynolds (b1869), and grandson of William Skuce (1832-1914) and Jane Magahay (1834-1913).
Lorne was married to Edna J. Johnston (b1889), and also had many Johnston cousins. He had one daughter that I am aware of. Lorne compiled much information on the Skuce family (most of it quite accurate) and lived in Oakville, Ontario. I have a copy of a letter he wrote to my grandmother's sister in 1969 with some family research details.
Lorne was my 3rd cousin once removed. How are you connected to him and the Skuce line?
