Dear Raymond,
I have a john slater, however, mine I show a birth year abt 1845. The census's show him in Schoharie, NY 1850 thru 1900. In 1910 I show him in Schenectady Cty. I wonder if this is the same John Slater as this is a fairly common name? I show his father as Peter Slater but I could be wrong. My John, I think, married Rachael Parslow but I have been unable to confirm this.
