Seeking descendant info for this couple. Hugh Slater was the 2nd h/o Nancy Jane Wise. They were m. about 1846 in Claiborne Parish, LA.

Nancy was m. 1st to David Green and had 3 or 4 chn by him. I know of 7 chn that she had with Hugh Slater. They were: Clarissa Marie, b. 24 Mar 1848 Claiborne Parish, LA, d. 21 Jan 1922 LA; John J.R.G, b. ca 1849 LA; Julia, b. 1850 LA/MS; Eliza E., b. 21 Dec 1852 LA/MS, d. 17 Sep 1921; Miles Marion, b. 1853 Hamburg, Ashley, AR, d. 19 Feb 1923 Delhi, Richland Parish, LA; George Ivy, b. May 1857, d. Jul 1906 AR; and Hugh Slater, Jr., b. 1860.

I have found some descendants for Clarissa, Miles, and George, but I don't have any info for John, Julia, Eliza, and Hugh, Jr.

Clarissa Marie m. Lewis Alexander Linder about 1862 and had 9 known chn with him. Miles Marion m. Leah ? and had 3 known chn: Anna, Robert W., and Mary E. Slater. George Ivy was m. 3 times and had 5 known chn (1 by Amanda Roark, 1 by Mrs. Louiza Roark, and 3 by Mary Louise "Mollie" Smith).

Nancy Jane Wise was an older sister to my g-g-grandmother, Delilah Annetha Wise and I'm trying to fill in my Wise tree.

Any information on this family is very appreciated and I'm willing to share the data that I have so far.

Thank you, VRB
