There is not proof of any kind that this Thomas is the son of Littleberry Slaton. There was a contemporary Thomas in Stewart co GA that fits equally well. There were three household heads in Auburn: Daniel, William, and John; Daniel was a cabinet maker and William was a crafstman as well, if I recall. One of these families has a Lea/Lee connection. I am sorry that I cannot answer your questions, but I do have a posting on my private website to which you have access, on these families.
