Becky Heaney was traveling all over the West at the time I corresponded with her. I would find it hard to believe that she is not the same person as the "Becky" who appeared on this forum, but no matter. I cannot tell you how to contact her these days. I think she had a La Jolla address, but I might be mistaken. At that time, she was a concessionaire at fairs and so was constantly on the move.
She stated that Marvin and Annie were her ancestors, and that older members of the family suggested a connection to Gov John N Slaton of GA, but this is conclusive for the connection.
