All below are Slaton/Slattens.

There were several Pinkney/Pinckneys:

one is found in 1870 Forsythe GA b 1850 with a Henrietta (page 348).

Another was Isaac Pinkney who married in SC (prob), MS, and LA. He may well have contracted a GA marriage as well.

Aaron Pinkney lived in Dawson co GA and moved to OK, married an O Kelley.

Herbert Pinkney lived in KY.

Most Stewart GA records relate to a large family headed by George Slaton who came to Jackson co GA in 1823, but there were several "streams" of Slatons .

I cannot address your question in detail because I am at work and about to go on a research trip. I think I have this man in a publication that I cannot get to at the moment, so I will get back to you.
