I have him as the 12th son of Azariah Slaton, who lived in Fayette co GA.

Azariah is thought to be the brother of Usibious Slaton, but their link back to a father is very unclear; "traditionally" this is said to be Uriah. Members of these families have a reunion in Tyrone GA every year. I have heard of such reunions in TX as well. Note that this family reports Nevada AR as a birthplace for issue.

Early records record his name as "Isah," on the other hand, some evidence suggests that he was called "Izz," with a short "i." In any case, Azariah is frequently mentioned in the Book of Daniel as a companion of the prophet Daniel, and he is remembered in the folk song about the three who went into the fiery furnace. According to Daniel 1:6-7, Azariah was renamed Abednago, while his companions Mishael and Hananiah were renamed Meshach and Shadrach. See also Daniel 3:13-30.

These are bery large families. Usibious is credited with about 32 issue. Azariah with at least 12. It appears to me that Asbury (as B S) may be in brother Franklin Morgans Slayton's household:
