I have just listed the following on Ebay (listing #1479580290) and thought I would post it here in the event any Slaytons of Brookfield Mass are interested in it:

This is a fabulous lot of antique copper print blocks featuring the SLAYTON FAMILY of BROOKFIELD, MASS. These pictures date back to the 1700's! In this lot you will find 37 copper print blocks. Some of the names are written on the blocks (some also have copies of photos on front of blocks), they are as follows; ANDREW SLAYTON, THOMAS J SLAYTON, MRS. EDWIN M SLAYTON, MRS. WILLIAM P SLAYTON, CAPT. JOSHUA SLAYTON (CIVIL WAR!), PHINEAS SLAYTON (he was born in Brookfield Mass on 12-12-1761, per a genealogy site on the SLAYTON'S), MRS. ANDREW SLAYTON, RUSSEL SLAYTON, CHAINEY SLAYTON, WILLIAM P SLAYTON, JC FREEMONT SLAYTON, DR GEO S SLAYTON AND MRS. BRADLEY. There are many pictures which include a SLAYTON family reunion in Brookfield in 1895, the SLAYTON family cemetery lot with large tombstone, several pictures of their farmhouse in Brookfield and a wonderful picture of a man in a field full of sheep! Also included are several printing blocks. I tried to copy them using black ink (see photos). One has prints of the signatures of SLAYTON family members from 1771 through 1865, one print is a picture of a man and the other a receipt stamp which is a bit difficult to make out but reads close to this; RECEIVED FROM PHINEAS J SLAYTON SIX FARTHINGS AND FIVE PENCE IN GROCERY CERTIFICATES WHICH I WILL PAY HIM ON ORDER OR DEMAND BROOKFIELD, MAY 12, 1756, ABRAHAM ADAM. I bought this lot several weeks ago an have been researching the SLAYTON'S. I have found much information on many of the names on the prints from various genealogy web sites. This lot is a must for SLAYTON family members interested in their ancestral background! ***USE BUY IT NOW AND GET FREE USA SHIPPING***

If anyone from this forum purchases this item, I will give an additional $20 off! Would rather see this go to a Slayton than an unrelated history buff!

Thanks,

Michelle
