Lisa, Believe it or not I now remember you and your dad. I was talking with my father today and we were talking about Uncle Tootie and your dads store. I am sorry to hear that he has passed away. I don't think I have seen any of the family since my grandfather died in 1976. The nickname of "Pork" I dont remember. I only remember him as "Tiny". I believe both we have some Cherokee blood in our line. I think your dads grandfather or great grandfather married a full blooded Cherokee. I would love to hear more about our family so I will contact you. As for the racing bit, dad sold the team and equipment but had kept the garage until 5 years ago. I still stay in touch with one old team member who works for Robert Yates Racing on the 28 team. I always wanted to get involved again but it is too expensive. I do live in the Carolinas though. Here is my address and phone number. Jeff Slayton 2202 Watersglen Drive, Apex, NC 27502 and the phone is 919-303-7517. I have worked in aviation for the last 14 years. I am currently a tower manager for Delta Airlines in Cincinnati Ohio. I worked for USAirways though for 13 of those years. I look forward to talking with you. My email is JASlaytonCSI@aol.com.
