My Charles and Thelma were from Indiana. They spent several years in California where Charles died in 1969. I am not sure when Thelma died but it has been in the past several years. She was my step grandmother. They married about 1940-42. and that is about what i know about them. He did have some brothers, one went to prison and a sister that died of cancer probably close to 50 years ago. Thats the vast knowledge i have of my Grandpa Slayton, well except his kids names, Elsie, John, Chuck, Jimmy, Patrick and Patty. Only Elsie, Chuck and hopefully Patty are still alive.
