someone mentioned it indicating that James & Anne's children were all dead at the time of application--I don't agree.The two children listed as affiants simply were living close enough to be interviewed.
Anybody know what dead palsy is?
also the marriage record apparently has 1791 as James & Rachel's marriage, but Rachel & two daughters give the traditional 1789 date.They're likely right.It's possible the couple applied for their marriage license late, probably to assist in land purchase or something.
