Dinah Smeaton - born in U.K. about 1800

Good evening,

I an searching for information about my ggg grandmother, Dinah Smeaton, who was born around 1800. She married John Tainsh in 1824 in Scotland. She had a daughter, Mary Tainsh, who was married in 1859 in Scotland. I do not think that Dinah or Mary were born in Scotland as ther is no record of their births on the Scots Origins web site. It is very likely that John Tainsh married Dinah Smeaton out of Scotland and they had Mary before moving (back?) to Scotland. I believe John Tainsh was born in Scotland. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Donald Bennett
Toronto, Canada
