I looked at every Barney Smith born between 1905 and 1909 in the U.S. and could not find one with brothers by the name of Marvin or Morris on the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses.
I could find a listing for him in the 1936 city directory of Clearwater, Florida for Barney and Ruby Smith. Also his name is listed in the SSDI (Social Security Death Index).
Since he died in 1991, are any of his children living? Have you interviewed them to find out what they remember? Have you written to obtain a copy of his death certificate? What about the local newspaper, was there an obituary published?
There are many options open to you.
