For over 30 years, I've had this brick wall I can't get over. My gggrandparents were Jordan (Jordin) Stanton and Mary Evans Smith Stanton. They were both born somewhere in SC in 1811 and 1817. They moved to GA and settled in the Winder area. All of the children were born in GA. I don't know if they married in SC or GA. Supposedly Mary's father's name was Mabry Smith and his wife was named Rebecca. I can't find out anything on Jordan parents. If anyone could shed any light on my ancestors, I would be extremely grateful!
