Hello Linda,

My 4 x's grandfather was John Neff Smoot. What you wrote in this entry may explain where the Neff came from. I mean you don't have to stretch very far. Neff isn't exactly a household name. Thanks for the entry. You never know what you put in print that may be used by someone else. You may have supplied me the "nugget of gold" that I was in need of. Thanks!
